A visit from our very own Queen of Spellbinders!

This weekend saw the return of our very own Spellbinding Queen, Erika Gunter, for a fabulous day of demos, of course using the Grand Calibur and a selection of dies from the vast collection of Spellbinders dies and embossing folders.  If you would like the names of all the dies, stamps and embossing folders used, then pop over to Erika's blog here.  The  Papeterie have stock of the dies and folders used in today's demonstrations along with a large selection of Saturated Canary's stamps.

Now, here's what you've been waiting for, pictures from Erika's demos.

This is a fabulous ' secret' magic sliding card, if you have a look at the above photo, you might just see how it works!  I believe Erika is making a wee video for her blog on how to make it!

Aren't they all gorgeous!

Looking ahead now to this week ...

On Thursday, it's Craft Night!  If you haven't already done so, give us a call
on 01224 802337 to book yourself a place, only £10 for a great evening of craft and socialising with like-minded people, with a free buffet thrown in too!
On Saturday, our very talented, Queen of the Promarkers, Debbi Glennie will be running two workshops.  In the morning, Debbi will be continuing with her project-based classes, come along and make a practical Gorjuss Notebook to take home or give as a gift. Techniques included are stamping and colouring with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. Included in the price is the Gorjuss stamp used in the project.
In the afternoon workshop, Debbi's will be doing some Funky Colouring featuring the very popular Saturated Canary stamps. Come and learn how to colour these stunning character stamps for all occasions.
Call the shop if you wish to be booked on any of these workshops.
Finally, a wee reminder of a very special evening being held on Saturday, 15th June at the Cloverleaf Hotel, Bucksburn.
As some of you may already know, our chosen charity this year is Archway.  Archway is an independent Aberdeen based charity offering a range of community based services for children and adults with learning disabilities.

We have set ourselves a target of raising £3,000 this year for this wonderful charity, and have already raised over £1,000!  So, to add to this fund the Papeterie have organised a charity quiz night on the 15th June:
If you would like to join us, and help us raise money for this very worthwhile charity, please contact The Papeterie on 01224 802337 begin_of_the_skype_highlightin.
Well, that's it for now, I'm off in the morning to Loch Insh Watersports Centre for 5 days with 18 Primary 7 school children ... let's hope the sun shines!
