I want to say a huge thank you. most importantly to all of our fantastic customers who continue to support us by attending events like the Sue and Barbara demos. Without you there would be no point at all for us organising these days. So my promise to you all is that if you keep coming we will keep delivering fantastic free demos!!! And if you thought this July was good wait till you see what I have planned for the rest of the year and next. I would also like to say thank you to all of those customers who have become like friends over the years, it truly means the world to myself and all the team at the shop.

A big thank you to Sue Wilson for giving up her time to raise money for a very worthwhile cause, and giving all of us some great memories of a brilliant demonstration day. It was definitely memories I know I will cherish forever, and cant wait to have you back up to the Papeterie again, as it truly felt as though we had a friend demonstrating at the shop!!
A massive thank you to a true inspiration, Barbara Gray, she never ceases to amaze me - not just by how talented she is, but by how truly kind she is. I have been privileged to call Barbara a friend for a few years now and it is a real joy when she visits the shop and it is always one of my favourite days of the year. Roll on next year to have her and Dave back up to the shop again!
I need to say a big thank you to our adopted Papeterie family members...
Kath Stewart who generously gave up her time on Saturday at the Sue Wilson demo to take some wonderful photos, help things tick over smoothly and add some of her usual humour to an already great day. Although next time I think Buddy needs to make an appearance.
Morgen our very helpful tea girl who worked in the scorching heat at both the Sue and Barbara demo days to sell tea and coffee and the all important Aberdeen buttery to some very grateful ladies. She did a fantastic job and helped raise money for Archway.
And our other tea girl who helped on Saturday, and did a great job even though it was her first day at the shop!
My grandma Jenny for giving up her time and producing her ever popular cupcakes, which were so popular there were none left for me by the end of the day.
Ryan from the mill's IT department for giving up his free time on Saturday to film the events for our charity dvd, and the countless hours spent since editing and making DVDs.
Barry from Alba Bagpiping for giving up his free time to welcome Sue to the shop in style along with giving some of the service users from archway a great experience. You did a fabulous job in that blistering heat!
And lastly but by no means least my Papeterie family...
Paula Stronach, who gave up so much time along with every one else to make sure that the shop was truly ready for our visitors, and for her amazing efforts during the Sue Wilson demo. Paula managed to sit through out the entire demo in the scorching heat and help Sue without one word of complaint. Its true testament to how good a job she did by the fact Sue has asked her to be her helper again next year!
Debbi, for not just the work she does in the shop, but all of the work she does at home, work she does with classes and for always saying "go for it" when I have crazy ideas like asking celebrity crafters up to the shop.
Pearl Robb, if it wasn't for you we would never have learnt about such a fantastic charity nor would we have had the very talented Sue Wilson in the shop. You are such an inspiration for not only all the hard work you put into the shop, but your attitude to life as well.
Phew I bet you're all glad I don't post very often, but I do truly appreciate all of the hard work done by my team, and all of the other people who help make the Papeterie fantastic.
