Christmas Craft Night

Would you believe this was our second Craft Night!  Debbi did tell me how many sleeps it is until Christmas, but I'm trying not to think about it too much, because I've not started on my Christmas cards, and I've usually started by now!

Anyhow, we've been getting our regular Craft Night visitors well into the swing of Christmas, as you can see by the projects that were made last Thursday.

My project was a Christmas card using the Spellbinders poinsettia die and Sizzix/Tim Holtz poinsettia embossing folders.

Charlottes project was a large 8" x 8" card using a new Paula Pascual die.

Debbi made a watercolour card using a new Christmas stamp.

Joyce made Christmas lanterns.

And last, but by no means least, Jean made two Christmas cards, but provided lots of other ideas as you can see.

Kath's Klub

Our very own Kath Stewart will be running two Kath's Klubs classes this Saturday.  There are still places available if you would like to come along.  Just call the shop on 01224 802337 if you would like to book a place.  The classes will run from 10 - Noon and from 1 - 3 pm.  Each class costs £20 which includes a free stamp to take home!

September Craft Retreat ... A weekend of fun!

Well ... the Craft Retreat came and sadly it's all over, but it's time to share the photos from a fantastic weekend of fun, laughs, great crafting, good food, oh and did I mention how much fun we had???

The weekend began on Friday night for some of us who were staying at The Thistle Hotel.  We had a lovely evening, with good food and great conversation and of course a few laughs!  It was nice to see a few new faces as well as some of our regular crafters!

After a hearty breakfast, we headed off to The Papeterie to meet up with the remaining retreaters, introduce our talented tutors and kick off the the weekend!

We must thank all the lovely ladies who joined us this weekend, we had so much fun with you all.  Also a big thank you to all the tutors and staff at The Papeterie who have been planning and preparing for this weekend's retreat for quite some time, and very importantly a very big thank you must go to Charlotte's Grandma, who always provides us with the most fantastic buffet, Jenny, you are a star!!

So, all that's left to say is, have you booked for the next retreat?  If you haven't yet, here is some feedback from our September retreat to tempt you!
