The Adventures of Sparkles and Stax

We'd like you to welcome the two newest members of staff at The Papeterie..... Sparkles and Stax.

These 2 cuties are in charge of the brand new Kidz Craft Department, so look out for more of their adventures on our Facebook page.
We've had a massive delivery of new goodies including loads of kits and packs of crafty bits to keep little hands busy. I had a go at making one of the super cute tote bag kits - this one features Squirt and is modeled by my little girl Faith...
Deliveries are coming in almost every day now, after Charlotte ordering loads of new goodies at the trade show last week.

First Craft Night of 2014

Well, that's the first craft night of 2014 done and dusted already.  It's been a couple of months since our last craft night and it was lovely catching up with all our regular crafters again.

Our regular tutors on craft night were Charlotte, Jean, Joyce, myself and if was good to see Kjersti join us too!  It was a cold, windy night and it was lovely to see so many brave the temperatures to come along, there were quite a few new faces and we had two men join us also!

There were a fair mix of projects on the go on Thursday from cards, to candle shades and tissue boxes, something from everyone.

Our crafters were making cards on Jean's table

and on Kjersti's table, they were making a lovely shade for candles incorporating napkins!

On Joyce's table our crafters were making these delightful tissue boxes
using gorgeous papers to decorate them.

Charlotte challenged our crafters to not one card, but two,
incorporating the use of a die-cutting machine ...

... and on my table, I gave them the choice of either a Valentine's day card
or an anniversary card using paper-piecing and card candi flowers.

We've had lot's of people asking about our craft classes.  We are looking at that at the moment, so keep an eye out on the blog and on our facebook page for forthcoming dates.
